I Accidentally Slapped My Girlfriend! HELP!?

We're both 17 and had gotten into an silly argument at my house about a week ago, I started yelling at her and calling her names. She's a very conserved person and she just said leave me alone. I told her she can't run from his problems and to face them but she started to walk away. I tried grabbing her a couple of times and she kept saying don't touch me. I got really mad at her and slapped her by accident (It was a very light touch, not really a slap). She looked really upset and went home. I've tried talking to her over the last week, I've been texting her and calling everyday but she doesn't answer. Every time I see her at school she just walks away and doesn't let me get close to her. I'm really sorry for what I did and I promise I would never do it again. I just want my girlfriend back. How do I get her to talk to me again?

I have a black belt. how long will it take to get a black belt in other disciplines?

This question comes up once in a while at the dojo where I am. I too have a black belt, which took me five years of hard training. The thing is, different styles have different methods of grading their pupils. Some have "time periods" in which students must have held their current rank for "x" amount of months, or the instructor may only hold gradings every so many months. But on the other hand, just because you are a black belt in one style, doesn't necessarily mean you'll have an advantage in another style. You will have to learn all of their methods of combat, and in some cases it may clash with what you have learned, and it can be quite difficult doing what you have been taught not to do. If the instructor grades by skill, it will really depend on how fast you can absorb the new material. In Judo for instance however, you have to win competition fights to show you have learned to better yourself in combat. There are far too many variables to give a definitive answer to this question, but previous skill MAY help. Best of luck finding a new art!

Why not try a silver shimmery eyeshadow, I wouldnt try and match your eyeshadow to your shoes or anything but why not pick out one colour from your dress and put silver in the inner corner of your eyes and the colour you picked from your dress on the outer half of your eye. That way you will have colour and shimmer, remember to blend the colours though (: For your friend put a bit of black pencil eyeliner on the eyelid and blend it up a bit with a makeup brush or use your fingers, this will give a smoky eye that isnt too obvious. basically i got a sterilized put savlon on it and cleaned my ear with savlon (i was only going to pierce my 3rd holes so i wasnt going wasn't any bones) i got ice and numbed the area then got the needle and pierced it were i had marked it, and then left the needle in for about 5 minutes then took it out and replaced it with a sterling silver earing thatearringeen sterolised sterilizedd with savlon. after i was temped to do the 4th hole so i done the same to that too. i cant sleep on the side of my ear but it is only slightly red and only hurts when i touch it, it hasnt gone hasn'ty round the sides and there dosent seemdoesn't signs of infection. but my friend also done hers and she had to take her out because they have become infected but she changed the earing 3 tiearring could it be to do with that? what should i do to avoid infection and allow it to heal correctly? was it the right thing to do?

Guitar Strings Rusting Really Fast?

Every time I get new guitar strings (first D'Addario, now Ernie Ball) they always rust (G, B, E) in about 2 or 3 days. I even got reinforced strings and the same thing happened, I must sweat hydrochloric acid or something. I always wash and dry my hands before play. Any idea what's happening and how to prevent it?

Cat that just recently had kittens?

My cat had some kittens on the 4th of July. She is doing the normal with them. She just came out to drink water and she is breathing as if she is congested. I have never seen her do this before. Is this something that I should be concerned with? She has food in the room as well as water and I understand that it is alot on the cat to nurse kittens. Also one of the kittens died ( I think she sat on it during the night). I just want to make sure I dont have to rush her to the vet. She seems to be tired which is understandable. What instrument should I play? I like this type of music?

That's totally up to you. Think about why you chose to play the violin and clarinet out of all the instruments in the first place. Something about them had to have sparked an interest. Do the same here with the four instruments that you can't decide on. I'm a drummer and I play the drums because I love everything about drumming. I loved the sound of drums and I liked how you could customize the drum setup anyway that is comfortable to you. I got into drumming after being introduced to double b drumming that is widely used in metal. Drums are the only instrument where you can create music by physically beating on something. Another reason why I love drums. I'm sure that out of the four, there has to be one that you find more special than the others. Most people don't choose instruments. The instruments choose them: people usually already have a general idea of what they want to play and it becomes their pion, the perfect instrument.

Puppy potty training issues, help!?

So my sister just sent me her little shih tzu puppy for a few months so that I can help potty train it for her. (she shouldn't have a puppy in the first place if she doesn't have time to potty train it, I know.) The puppy is about 4 and a half months and she has no idea that she is supposed to go to the bathroom outside. I have been taking her outside about every hour in hopes that she will use the bathroom outside so I can positively reinforce her with treats and praise, but she just won't use the bathroom outside, she doesn't even want to go on the gr. I can't start crate training her yet because she just uses the bathroom in her crate. (She lived in a pet store until she was 4 months so she is used to just peeing and pooping where she lives.) I sat outside with her for about an hour this morning and she just doesn't get it, about a minute after bringing her inside she peed on the floor. how do I get her to potty outside?

You would probably lose quite a bit of weight. I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 3.5+ lbs/week. I must warn you, though. This would be a very hard diet to stick to. I'd only do this diet for a few weeks at most. Then worry more about calories (1500-1600 calories/day if you're a woman) than what you're actually eating. Keep the working out up, though. That's really the key. As long as you are burning more calories than you are consuming, then you should continue to lose rather than gain weight.

mma is by far my favorite sport and the only one i ever follow. as much as i want it to be the best their is no way it will be bigger than football. the only way i can see it becoming bigger than foot ball is if the organizations matched the grandeur of the superbowl and other big sporting events. unless the ufc or strike force started making shows(and shoved it down our throats) out of their events mma will not be bigger than football.(i would add dream to this but the ufc and strike force are the current top dogs of the mma world) i hope mma some day becomes the biggest sport but i don't realistically see that happening. Also they should take away that 6-12 illegal elbow rule. i also think the ufc should incorporate a women's division once the females division deepens, come on who doesn't like some Variety. ps fedor is my favorite fighter

What does this dream mean?

Well last night i had a dream about me suffocating. I was laying face down in a barn and i remember thinking to myself in the dream 'its okay im going to die peacefully'. The hospital probably know best, I had 4 teeth removed like this when I was a child to avoid overcrowding, I had to have braces but because of this early treatment and a good dentist, I managed to get them when I was very young and was brace-free by age 12 or 13. I am studying to be a teacher. I am an English major and working on my teaching certification for secondary education But I LOVE researching so while I am on summer vacation I have been researching motivation and have read a lot about teaching with an autonomy-supportive style. This means that I should listen to students wants, encourage them to think for themselves, not give extrinsic rewards because that would undermine the intrinsic motivation that I am supposed to be encouraging. I should also give the students options when it comes to lessons. Why can't I remember anything?

I'm 13 years old. An expresso machine, and a crock pot both fell on top of my head (please don't ask why). It hurt like HELLLL, when it fell on my head, I fell down and hit my cheekbone on the floor. I was also applying chapstick on at the time, so when I slipped, the hard part scd my gums. I started crying but was okay after half an hour (still hurts) Talk about bad luck. I have seen them several times in my life, I am 26 years old. The first time I saw one I was 8 years old, the last time was about 2 or 3 weeks ago. The first time I didn't believe what I was seeing, but it went back to the same spot at the same time the next night. The night after, I told a friend of mine about it, she didn't believe me, so I told her what time, and it ws 10 minutes before, we were not far from where I saw it, so I brought her there, of course it showed up, it was far away, so it just looked like a light, or a star, except that stars do not move, and planes do not hover in one spot, and even a helicopter has a flashing light on it, she never doubted me again. the next time I was about 16, it was broad daylight, there were 2, and they were very close. one was hovering in one spot at about a 30 degree angle, the other was moving slowly across the sky, at about a 10 degree angle, they were close enough that I can say for sure that they were disclike, they appeared to be white, the one that was moving disappeared when my friend ran inside to get his binoculars, it reappeared back where we first saw it after he came back out. after about another 10 minutes they just faded away. A few weeks ago I was walking at about 3 in the morning, I looked up at the stars, and one of them moved over towards a cloud, when it was over the cloud a green light came from off to the left of it (it had to be huge, the height of the clouds, and the distance between the white light and the green light suggests larger than one of our cities). The green light spread out like one of those red item scanner beams, and it swept across the cloud and disappeared (not the ufo, the green light). the ufo went from cloud to cloud doing this for about an hour. just before I left an airplane was flying directly towards it and it disappeared. I ama former chef and have used porter myself in dishes, it is a bit sweeter and less malty than Guinness add abit of dark brown sugar with it about 2 tablespoons when adding the beer/stout, and cook it the same way as the recipe asks for the porter, Porter was made for the workers on the docks in the UK and it was a bit different than lager, bitter, ale and stout.

How do I get my hair like this?

Wow...that is soo remeniscent of Madonna in her "Justify My Love" video....but its pretty easy to do. You can either use rollers & spritz or 2" barrel curling iron & spritz or hairspray. I recommend a curling iron, or you'll have to sleep in the rollers & trust me, they hurt the head when layin on em..Im sure they used some kind of setting lotion, because the curls were bouncy, but hairspray or spritz works just as well. But just basically part your hair to the side & pull a section out for the bang & do one big curl. For the rest, your going to have to section it & curl each section separate. Spray each section from root to tip for better hold & curl. Curl & Hold for about 30 secs for a good curl. Do the whole head. Once finished, style as desired. You can brush it out & than finger style it, or use a pick to kind of seperate the curls & style. Look at the video while doing it & get a feel of how u want it to look...good luck
