Is it safe to travel to sri lanka as ive heard they have a civil war going on in the north?

yes it is safe LTTE is being pushed all the way to the back so going to a city in the south of sri lanka like Columbo should be safe but if u wait a little longer the war will be over and sri lanka will be at peace
