I wont be home when my package from post office ship here.?

i wont be home when my packages come, i had to leqave country for 2 weeks due to emergency, n my package came last week n left notice, what can i do if i wnat them to hold my package until the week i come back. they said if package is unclaim it will get sent back to sender.
