Experienced cat owners, your advice would be appreciated!?

i recommend tidy cats crystals for the litter if she'll be an indoor cat...litter boxes are very hard to keep fresh and they stink up your home...but i personally garauntee this litter won't smell if you follow directions! (it's the kind that is ALL crystals, not the blended kind) i like purina one for the food...of the cheap wal--mart brands, it's the highest in protein..altho there are better varieties available at a petstore or Petco if you are willing to spend more...like NutroMax. i also recommend one of those carpeted kitty perches with the hanging and branches....they love those, especially if you have dogs they need to escape from. kitties love to sit in windowsills, and you can buy a carpeted perch that attaches to the windowsill for her, ask at the petstore, or sometimes wal-mart has 'em.
