What does this dream mean?

Well last night i had a dream about me suffocating. I was laying face down in a barn and i remember thinking to myself in the dream 'its okay im going to die peacefully'. And as i was laying down i remember this intense feeling in my ribs that was getting tighter and tighter. It was so vivid, i have been thinking about it all day. I also remember me testing how far i could breathe in just before i died in my dream. I have bronchitis, im not sure if i was actually suffocating in real life or just a dream. Recently my boyfriend has been in hospital with a broken jaw and i went to visit him the afternoon before this dream. If that helps...what does this dream mean? oh btw Im 15 and a girl if that makes a difference...
