Is it possible to convert a BIN/CUE file to ISO and then burn to DVD?

I have downloaded a BIN/CUE file and wish to burn to DVD and not CD. I realise this is not possible with a BIN/CUE file so can I convert it to an ISO and burn to DVD. Will this work and if so what programme will I need. I already have image burn. Freeware software only please.
