For a study permit for Canada, I need to justify what 'ties' I have to the UK. What can I write?

I am a UK pport holder and am applying for a Canadian study permit. I have been told that all will be pretty straightforward, however, I need to justfiy my ties to the UK in my application. I have written that I have friends and family here, but what else can I write? They can't expect me to have a job or property here because I'm a student! Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
